This day trip starts in the south of the island . We make our first stop in the small fishing village of Ajuy with its deep black sandy beach, the cliffs and the naturally formed caves. We continue to Pájara, where we visit the church in the beautiful village square. Continuing our round trip, we stop for a short photo stop at the "Mirador de las Peñitas". Arriving in Betancuria, you have time to discover the old island capital and the small cathedral on your own. Now a Canarian lunch awaits us in Valle Santa Inés. Hiking Tour "Volcano & wine"

A tour of Fuerteventura for Fuerte lovers. THE VOLCANO The most beautiful volcano on the island is located inland. The bizarre landscapes and deserted areas have a special character. It seems to be an untouched piece of earth. While we hike on gravel roads to the volcano, we take in cultivation areas. It is not without reason that the desert island was once an important cultivation area. Hardly anyone knows that even the craters of the volcanoes were used for agricultural purposes. We show you these secret corners on our tour. The walled-in basins made it possible to use the crater as a volcanic garden when it rains. The volcano is 461 meters high. After about 100 meters of altitude we reach a view point to take a break. The unique view will surely offer you a wonderful contrast to the otherwise well-known Fuerteventura. The crater entrance is about 350 meters and is easily manageable for experienced hikers. FARM VISIT After 2.5 hours of hiking in the volcanic area, we visit a Canarian farm on Fuerteventura. Here we would like to show you the unknown side of Fuerteventura. Thanks to the good cooperation with local farmers, these active tours are possible. A visit to an organic aloe vera farm or a visit to a cheese dairy is included. Due to the ongoing Corona situation, we will confirm shortly beforehand which farm is open, as opening times and availability may change. Hiking Tour "Family Adventure"

What can you do in Fuerteventura with children? How about our goat family tour? Highlights are the guided walk, the typical local picnic and the decorated and painted natural materials. Children love to be outside and to move freely. Bringing children and animals together is fun and has a positive effect on their awareness of nature. In the last year we have taught our young goats Turbo, Feli and Pintas a lot. As trained goats for hiking, they are used to comunicate with people and love to be the main actors of the goat excursion. We are now officially offering a short tour with goats in the program. This guided walk involves walking slowly for 2.5 km. The animals sometimes run free and sometimes on a leash. Goats love to eat all day long. That's why this tour is pet-friendly, because it gives the four-legged friends time to have breakfast outside. GUIDED TOUR You walk into an empty river bed that is lined with palm trees, cactus and old fields. The soil consists primarily of sand, stones and gravel. The guide tells interesting stories about the goats, the country and the people. This route does not include any inclines and is therefore easy to manage for grandma and grandpa or parents with children. PICNIC After the walk with the animals, a small picnic is offered on a terrace. Goat cheese is typical for Fuerteventura. For the kids there is juice, fruit, goat cheese and the homemade pella de gofio. Parents will like the delicious cheese with a good glass of red wine. Learn more about the production of organic olive oil and the cultivation on the finca. HANDCRAFT It is popular to paint the stones and natural materials collected along the way, such as snail shells and dry plants. We will provide the appropriate color. Everyone gets their own creation to take home as a souvenir. GROUP SIZE Since we accept small groups of max 12 people, we are grateful for all reservations made a few days in advance. Excursion day Friday and other days on request. WHERE DO THE GOATS LIVE? We are located in the south of the island near Tesejerague / El Cardon. MORE ABOUT OUR ANIMALS The goat family consists of various animals of different breeds and sizes. The little Turbo is about 20 cm tall, Pintas and Feli about 30 cm and the boss Rayo 1.10 cm. Most of the animals are feeded with the bottle when they were younger and therefore tame. They are very robust and are therefore suitable for the rough outdoors of Fuerteventura. WHO IS THE TOUR SUITABLE FOR? Tour is suitable for families. Babies are best carried in the carrier. Children from the age of 3 are able to walk the route always accompanied by one of the parents. Older children who are also very welcome. Hiking Tour "Wild coast & legends"

Discover the contrasts of the island. Visit the unique canyon in Las Penitas. This place of Fuerteventura is picturesque. Ridley Scott directed the film Exoduss and used the impressive scenery. On this hike of Fuerteventura you have time to relax and take pictures. THE CANYON AND THE SAINT Away from the main roads of Fuerteventura hides a small oasis. The palm grove is a wonderful contrast to the otherwise very barren desert landscape. Who would have guessed that you can hike here to a tiny chapel and be accompanied by the unique panorma view over the valley. The first part of our tour leads up to the chapel via a narrow hiking trail that was carved into the basalt rock. Enormous rock formations are at our feet. (approx. 200 metres in altitude). Learn more about the legend of the saints and the life of the local people. Even today, the chapel and the patron saint are an important part of the local traditions, because every year in September it has its own holiday. FISHING VILLAGE AJUY Ajuy is one of the most beautiful fishing villages in Fuerteventura. Directly on the west coast you walk along the oldest rock formations of the island. In the bright stone walls, fossils were found that suggest a long history of origin. The oldest Canary Island once rose from the sea, so today impressive caves and rock formations can be admired. THE ROCK ARCH Only half an hour walk from Ajuy is a little-known rock gate. Far from civilization, this rock formation of volcanic origin with a height of 35 meters is a mystical place. It seems like a gateway to a kingdom or a distant galaxy. The fresh sea breeze and the swell invite you to linger. After a short break we hike back to Ajuy on the coast. GOOD TO KNOW The hike is divided into 2 stages. First you walk in the gorge for about 1 hour and then drive 5 minutes to the coast. There we go on to the second stage about 1.5 hours. The ground consists mostly of gravel.If you are afraid of heights, they can take individual breaks at any time. WALKING ROUTE Total 8 km, level light, with some altitude differences and an ascent in the gorge. Solid shoes are essential.
