Welcome to Fuerteventura !

Welcome to Fuerteventura, a sun-drenched paradise that beckons with its pristine beaches and windswept landscapes. Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean, perfect for exhilarating water sports or peaceful relaxation. Marvel at the breathtaking sand dunes of Corralejo or explore the charming old town of Betancuria, a window into the island's rich history. Sample the local gastronomy, infused with fresh seafood and Canarian flavors, and savor the island's famed goat cheese. Fuerteventura offers an idyllic haven for those seeking tranquility, outdoor adventures, and an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With a surface area of 1659 km², 98 km long (the longest of all the islands in the archipelago) and 28 km wide, Fuerteventura is the largest island in its province and the second largest in the Canary Islands. The highest point is 813 metres above sea level, at Pico de la Zarza. It also has an infinite number of volcanoes. It is a very arid island and its climate is arid with no humid air and little rainfall. And its proximity to the Azores means that it has prevailing north-north-westerly winds (excellent for wind sports). Fuerteventura also stands out, like the rest of the islands, for having the calima brought by the African Sirocco.
