Papagayo Beach

You can experience a very special beach day by visiting the Papagayo beaches. There you will find natural bathing bays with white sand and turquoise water. The way there leads from Playa Blanca over a bumpy road. However, most car rental companies only allow off-road vehicles to drive to the beaches. An access fee is also charged here. It is therefore advisable to leave the rental car at the last hotel in town, the "Sandos Papagayo", and take a 20-minute walk to the beaches.
