Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca is the southernmost, warmest and sunniest resort on the island. A small fishing village has become a favourite holiday destination, attracting mostly crowds looking for tranquillity. From the old lighthouse on the beaches of Papagayo runs an almost continuous promenade that invites to stroll and stroll. The promenade runs past the port of Playa Blanca, from where the ferry leaves for the neighboring island of Fuerteventura. Also in the immediate vicinity is the town's main promenade with shops, bars, cafés and restaurants. However, Playa Blanca is famous for its Papagayo beaches, natural bays with white sand and azure waters. There you will always find a quiet spot where you can look out over the picturesque bays undisturbed.
