In Lanzarote, there are beaches with white, but also with black sand. The most beaches at the touristic resorts are supervised by lifeguards from 9:00 till 17:00 in winter and from 09:00 till 20:00 in Summer . For your safety , please follow the lifeguards instructions and take into account the meaning of the colored flags RED= NO SWIMMING YELLOW = CAUTION GREEN = SWIMMING ALLOWED All beaches are public areas, which means that sun loungers and umbrellas always are against payment .
