Tour suggestion 1 day
From the south, you start in the direction of Arona via the TF 28 to La Camella, there you turn onto the TF 51 and follow this road to Vilaflor, the highest mountain village in Spain. From here, it is not far via the TF 21 to the so-called Las Cañadas - the national park around Mount Teide. A unique volcanic landscape awaits you and, of course, the highest mountain in Spain. If you would like to use the cable car to just below the summit, we recommend booking the ticket with a pre-booked time with your tour guide - this way you avoid unnecessary waiting times. Follow the TF 21 into the green part of the island, in the north you will directly reach La Orotava and also the well-known town of Puerto de la Cruz. You should plan a full day for a visit to the famous Loro Parque, but there is certainly time for a stop in the old town centre with the Plaza del Charco. From Puerto de la Cruz, orientate yourself on the north coast via the TF 5 to Icod de los Vinos - here you will find the legendary thousand-year-old dragon tree. The day is now drawing to a close and you should head back south. Via the TF 373 to Santiago del Teide and then on and on via the TF 1 to the south - this way you will also have got to know the beautiful west side.
